First Communion Portraits

Okay, so I'm almost settled on the dates for our First Communion Special. I'll have them locked in for sure by tomorrow. So many have called, and so it's at the top of my list of things to do tomorrow. So check back here and I'll have the dates list. In the meantime, enjoy these little cuties from last year.

America's Cutest Kid

We see a lot of cuties here at the studio...but do you think YOUR child is America's cutest kid?
Now's your chance to find out. We are participating in the America's Cutest Kid contest to raise money for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. This organization helps families dealing with the loss of an infant.

So here are the contest details:
1. Entrants must be between the ages of 18 months and 14 years.
2. There is a $25 entrance fee. For your fee, you'll get a 20 minute portrait session here at the studio, and we will electronically submit one image to the contest.
3. A local winner is chosen, based on number of votes. Each vote is $1
4. The local winner gets entered into the national finals. That winner will get a $5000 savings bond, and a new digital camera.
5. Model sessions are available weekday mornings only.

Halloween Foodraiser

Well what a fun Halloween we had at the studio. Nearly 70 children came in dressed in their Halloween costumes, and we collected more than 700 items of food for the Amanda Strong Food for the Needy Program. Thank you to all who participated!

Halloween Food-raiser

So many of you have called and asked if we're doing this again this year. And the answer is "yes!!!" The second annual costume portrait day is scheduled for Halloween day again this year. Here's what you need to know:

When: Friday, October 31st, 9am-2pm

Where: The studio, silly. Please note the blog entry about our new address.

What: Bring your child dressed in his or her Halloween costume, along with 10 non-perishable food items. You'll get a complimentary 5x7 portrait. All the food will be donated to the Amanda Strong Food for the Needy Program.

Fine Print: Pictures are of individual children only - no groups. Child must be dressed in a costume. No appointments will be taken - everyone will be photographed on a first-come, first-served basis.
